Direct data exchange with Sunny Portal
Ideally suited for online monitoring of small PV systems with up to four inverters, Webconnect provides free access to Sunny Portal. It’s simple to use, requiring only Internet access and a DSL router. Following the simple installation of the factory-integrated inverter interface, Webconnect commissioning is plug-and-play. Once configured, key system data can be accessed and displayed in a clear format whenever needed.

One of the great advantages of Webconnect is the direct transfer of data from the inverter to the Sunny Portal —without any other SMA devices.
In addition to the integrated Webconnect functionality, all it takes is Internet access and a DSL router.
With system data clearly displayed in the Sunny Portal, users can get an overview of their system.
Quick and easy installation and commissioning
Simple
Once the inverter is cabled, commissioning is plug-and-play.
Just plug it into the home's existing DSL router. After registration in the Sunny Portal, users are able to call up the most important PV system data.
Device firmware is automatically updated.

Mobility at its best
PV system operators have online access to their system at any time, from anywhere. For example, they can access key data, such as yield and power or the system log book, from their PC or mobile device. Simply use private Internet access
Online
A DSL broadband connection is required to use the Webconnect functions. Under these conditions, continuous data exchange with the Sunny Portal makes it possible to visualize the high-resolution data.
A packet-oriented mobile radio data transmission (e.g., LTE, UMTS, HSPA, EDGE or GPRS) is recommended only if the mobile provider offers an appropriate flat rate with support of VoIP (Voice over IP).
Since GSM routers use a time-based billing structure, they should never be used with the Webconnect functionality.
