The SMA Certification Service handles the processing of plant certificate types A and B, including the declaration of conformity, for your installation company. You can make use of the SMA Certification Service early on during planning and application to the grid operators or at a later stage. Gain freedom in your planning capacity and get simplified access to large-scale projects.*

The SMA Certification Service is more than just a certification. We also carry out an AI-based review of all required documents to ensure they are correct and complete. The SMA Certification Service thus avoids unnecessary to-ing and fro-ing and speeds up the overall process. SMA Certification Service at a glance
Grid connection application with the grid operator: We take responsibility for the grid connection procedure with the relevant grid operator, from registration through to the E.9 form.
Compilation of documents: The SMA Certification Service bundles and checks all documents provided by you that are required for the process before forwarding them to the certifier. These include the SLD (single line diagram), UPS calculation, regulation concept and the safety concept.
Certification support: Our expert advice and support throughout the certification process.
Commissioning declaration: We pool together all the required evidence for the commissioning declaration from the relevant project partners. All submitted documents are checked to ensure they are complete and credible.
Basic package, type B plant certificate: The SMA Certification Service handles the exchanging of all required data for the type B plant certificate, including the declaration of conformity, on your behalf. We communicate with grid operators and the certification body, where necessary. To ensure a smooth process, all documents are additionally reviewed using an AI tool to ensure they are complete and correct.
