Utility-scale PV power plant – Turkey, 2015
Asiyan GES – 2.2 MW
80 SMA Sunny Tripower 25000 TL and 8800 modules work together to produce about 3,658 MWh clean energy every year.
The PV power plant located in the south of Turkey not very far from the Mediterranean sea had to be carefully planned so that shadow effects caused by the surrounding mountains could be avoided.
