PUK2.0 – How to Make Your SMA Products Even More Secure

In these times of an increasingly decentralized and regenerative energy supply, the digitalization of our energy systems plays a key role. Energy producers and consumers are being connected in increasingly intelligent networks and integrated in the energy systems. System operators need to be able to reliably control and operate their systems and components at all times using their digital devices. The new PUK2.0 security feature protects these devices against unauthorized access.

From January 2022, PUK2.0 will gradually replace SMA’s old PUK system.
